Von Hollingen bis nach Veltrup: Rundtour um Emsdetten

This varied circular tour shows you Emsdetten in all its diversity over around 30 kilometers - from quiet forest passages and green parks to open meadow landscapes. And best of all, you stay within the city limits the whole time.

You start at Emsdetten train station. From there, you pass Kulturhof Deitmar and follow the Albert-Haverkamp-Weg along the Mühlenbach stream (please note: there are currently detour on the Albert-Haverkamp-Weg) into the Emsdettener Brook. The quiet forest area with its shady paths invites you to enjoy a relaxing cycle. Via Hollingen you finally reach Lintel's Kotten - a real classic stop-off point and popular meeting place for cyclists.

The route then winds its way through the countryside towards the city park. Picnic areas, play areas and small animal encounters await you here. The route leads through Meinerts Brook via further playgrounds and orchards to the Finnenbahn, which is particularly popular with sports enthusiasts.

The landscape then opens up: you cycle through the Ems floodplains, on through the Sinninger Veen and through the agricultural areas of Veltrup and Isendorf.
