The Venn and Wiesen circuit

A classic among the Emsdetten walks: This varied circular tour takes you right through the idyllic fens and meadows of the Münsterland region. The starting point is the parking lot at the characteristic "Wanderpilz" Emsdetten.

From there, the route first takes you through the Emsdettener Venn, one of the most important raised bog areas in the region. You can experience the unique landscape on the winding paths and nature trail with viewing towers: Moorland, heathland and rare plant species make the area a paradise for nature lovers.

After exploring the fens, the route continues along the Max Clemens Canal. The extensive meadows and fields along the canal invite you to relax and enjoy the magnificent views. An ideal tour for nature lovers and anyone looking for a quiet break in the midst of beautiful nature.
