The Wolters Family is back: on 30 and 31 October 2026 (Friday and Saturday) at 8 pm in the Bürgersaal at Stroetmanns Fabrik, there will be a double concert in a class of its own: “Wolters Family & Friends in Concert”.

The “Wolters Family” and their guests celebrated two fantastic evenings full of rousing music – ranging from mellow to rock – in autumn 24 and February 25. Now there’s a repeat performance!

Wolters fans can look forward to a completely new programme that the four of them have put together. Songs and classics by Queen, Prince, the Beatles, The Mamas & Papas, Adele, Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, The Eurythmics and many more will be celebrated on stage. With polished arrangements, harmonies, accomplished instrumentalists and a wide-ranging selection of songs, visitors will be taken on a musical journey through various decades.

With polished arrangements, harmonised vocals, accomplished instrumentalists and a wide-ranging selection of songs, the audience will be taken on a musical journey through various decades.

“Listen up, folks, and mark my words: our bell has struck ten…” was once heard in the streets and alleys of Emsdetten when the night watchman made his evening rounds. Dressed in historical costume and equipped with a halberd, a lantern and a horn, the night watchman Bernard Bruch is now returning to Emsdetten. 

He takes his guests on a journey back to an Emsdetten of times long past and has many anecdotes from the 19th century to share – when Emsdetten was still a village, yet already had a good twenty inns and was beginning to develop economically. Passing by striking landmarks in the town centre such as the old town hall, the railway station, St Pankratius’ Church and the villas around the Volksbank and Sparkasse, he recounts his duties as a night watchman, but also about the lives of the tub-makers, how Emsdetten was connected to the railway, and brings the history – and the stories – back to life.

Note for those attending with children: The guided tour is suitable for children aged 8 and over.

After the celebrated premiere in autumn 2024 and numerous sold-out shows, the show will continue seamlessly in 2026. In his live show, Zeigler combines humour, archive gems, curiosities and personal anecdotes to create a very special evening of football - just as we know it from his TV show "Zeigler's Wonderful World of Football". "Always luck is skill" - the title says it all. Because after more than 270 live shows, we can all be sure: It's not just luck, there's also a lot of skill involved. No one else tells football stories and fan culture in this way - approachable, quirky, affectionate and always with attitude. Zeigler takes his audience on a journey through the highs, lows and bizarre aspects of the most beautiful game in the world.

"Perhaps you don't even have to be a football aficionado to find these two hours highly comical and highly entertaining," wrote the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper about the evening.

The live show is a tribute to football as we love it - with all its rough edges, outbursts and magical moments. And in the end, the realisation remains: "Football holds us together in an invisible way."

Following the huge success of the past two years, the “Kindermusikfestival-Münsterland” will be back for its third edition in 2026. A small team led by the multi-award-winning music group ‘Karibuni – World Music for Children’ is inviting music lovers of all ages to a decentralised festival from 5 to 8 November 2026, under the motto ‘Karibuni invites you…’.

In around ten locations across the Münsterland region, Berlin-based children’s songwriter Suli Puschban, Frankfurt-based children’s songwriter Ferri and ‘Karibuni’ from Münster will provide musical highlights with a varied programme of world music for children.

The grand finale will take place on 8 November with a joint concert featuring all the participating musicians at the Stroetmanns Fabrik socio-cultural centre in Emsdetten.

The singer-songwriters Suli Puschban and Ferri, as well as the band ‘Karibuni – World Music for Children’, stand for handcrafted music, child-friendly songs, cultural diversity and musical innovation. For many years, they have been delighting children and families with their programmes on stages throughout Germany.

Through modern, contemporary and age-appropriate music, the festival aims to reach as many children and families in the Münsterland region as possible, regardless of their background or social circumstances.
