This hiking circuit starts at the local Alltagshilfe e.V. in Sinningen. From there, the route takes you to Hermeler See, an idyllic place to relax and go fishing. A worthwhile detour takes you to the Ems bridge at Reinermanns Steg, which is also part of the Ems cycle path.

The Postdamm and Mystikwald loop

The route starts in the picturesque village center of the farming community of Ahlintel. From here, the trail takes you to the Steinfurt waterworks before continuing along the historic Postdamm to the mystical Zauberwald, a fascinating wooded area with numerous art objects.

This tour around the idyllic village of Hembergen starts at the old Lanvers inn. From there, the route follows a picturesque path along the Ems and then continues to the "Alte Linde". You then follow the hiking trail along the reactivated Ems-Altarm.

The Emsaue and Mühlenbach loop

This varied circular tour takes you through the most beautiful corners of Emsdetten and combines enjoyment of nature with proximity to the city. You start at the Emsdetten hiking station and after a short time you reach the Emsauen, an idyllic nature reserve with numerous information points, relaxing banks and picturesque paths along the Ems.
