“Listen up, folks, and mark my words: our bell has struck ten...” was once heard in Emsdetten when the night watchman made his evening rounds. Dressed in historical garb and equipped with a halberd, lantern, and horn, he returns.

Emsdettener Venn Nature Reserve

In the footsteps of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, certainly the most famous female poet, the high moorland area "Emsdettener Venn" will be presented on 19 September (Saturday) at 6.30 pm under the motto "Oh, it's scary to walk across the moor...". will be presented.

An approx. 2 ½ -hour moorland walk in the fens is a challenge for the eyes, ears, nose and senses. Is there really a spring under every step, does the hay rustle and is it really spooky? It certainly makes sense to take a guardian angel with you!

Reality and fantasy make for two entertaining hours and then the question:
